About Hiato

Hiato documents the travels of Joe Harrison and Stef Hacking, two freelance designers taking intervals from their design careers in East London to explore the world. Our first trip together was South America, where we spent 8 months travelling around the content in 2016. We are currently enjoying our next adventure (and honeymoon) in Indonesia.

About Stef and Joe

Joe specialises in interface design for digital products. He's worked in London for over 10 years at various digital agencies, and now works as a freelance designer.

Stef has spent the last 10 years in London working in interior environments and has spent the past 3 years freelancing within the retail and event design sectors.

They both have a passion for exploring the world, and Indonesia is the next stop.
